The place was tidy and well-maintained. the staff was very helpful and caring on replenishing milk. - the double room I stayed in was modern with an excellent view. - the hotel's location is stunning, really close to the fields of Wiltshire. - the hotel has a great restaurant and main areas.

The room with its private balcony was great value.

We ate at an elegant restaurant with varied menu. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning. The location was lovely and beautiful - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

Breakfast was awful, can be much better.

The staff at the check-in desk were very helpful, our room had both a shower and a bath, and the breakfast was a great deal with a wide variety of delicious foods available.

Mt Fuji restaurant servers authentic Japanese food that exceed our expectation (my wife is Japanese) & at very reasonable price. Extra bed was properly prepared & even some surprises for our 4yr old twin girl was a plus. Good location even if you do visit Stonehenge & Bath.

The breakfast here was reasonably priced and offered delicious croissants and fresh fruit 🥐🍓. the restaurant food was also fantastic. In terms of location, the accommodation is somewhat secluded, especially when it comes to the bars.

We stayed there last week and the review then stands. This trip was booked a few days in advance after our previous stay. This time we could not get the same level of room (deluxe instead of executive). What we had was still very nice and we would stay again.

Set in lovely countryside location, but close to access routes.

1. The extractor fan in my bathroom was covered in dust. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months! 2. Despite being advertised that free wifi in the rooms, neither my phone or laptop could connect, except for in public areas. Mentioned it during my stay (2nights) never sorted. 3. Asked if chips available 2nd night. Told yes, after checking with kitchen. Ordered chicken fillet burger, chips and salad. Arrived with no chips! If I had been told no not available I would have ordered something different! Generally disappointing. Would loved to have recommended it as has potential to be very good. But too many niggly things that spoiled it for me.

The room here was simple and had a very comfy bed, plus the lovely rural setting was a bonus, with Castle Hillfort just 2 miles away.

The staff was friendly and helpfull. Roomservice was swift and correct.

To find something this peaceful this close to Swindon was a huge and pleasant surprise. We relaxed the moment we got to the car park. Secure entry to the grounds for later arrivals gives added reassurance. The room we had was excellent - it was a spur of the moment booking to avoid Friday morning M25. We arrived at our morning meeting in the best shape possible. The Japanese options at meal times are great. All staff helpful and polite.
